# Create PEX tags for Blackbaud

> PEX Tag manager is your one stop shop to sync Blackbaud fields with PEX tags. Each PEX tag corresponds to a Blackbaud field. The connector can auto pull in your accounts, funds, departments, etc. from Blackbaud, so you don’t have to add them manually in PEX.

Once they’re in PEX, you can easily code/tag transactions before they sync to Blackbaud. They will then sync to Blackbaud with the correct account, fund, department, etc.
