# How to Enable Merchant Categories for Cardholders (Mobile App)

> Administrators can use the Mobile App to enable Merchant Categories for cardholders.

Download the Mobile App:

* Download the [iOS app from the App Store](https://itunes.apple.com/app/id584331280)
* Download the [Android app from the Google Play Store](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softjourn.pexcardholder)
* The download is free but carrier data rates may apply

## How to enable merchant categories for cardholders, using the Mobile App

<Steps>
  <Step>
    Log into the Mobile App
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click the "Cards" icon at the bottom of the screen
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Navigate to the cardholder
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click on the cardholder's name
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click "Spend Rules"
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click on "Merchant categories"
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click the plus sign (**+**) in the upper right corner to add/enable a Merchant Category
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Select the Merchant Category you want to add/enable
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click "Done"
  </Step>

  <Step>
    The new Category is added to the list of Merchant Categories enabled for the cardholder
  </Step>
