# How to Enable Cardholder Notifications

> Subscribe to email and mobile notifications for transaction activity, card balance updates, funding requests, missing receipts, and low balance reminders.

PEX offers a variety of cardholder notifications to alert you to key account activity. You can subscribe to the following notifications:

## Email notifications

* *Transaction approved* — receive a notification when an admin has approved your transaction.
* *Transaction rejected* — receive a notification when an admin has rejected your transaction.
* *Transaction declined* — receive a notification when your card is declined at point-of-sale.
* *Card balance updates* — receive a notification when funds are added to or removed from your card.
* *Funding request status* — receive a notification when your funding request is approved or rejected.
* *Missing receipt reminder* — receive a notification when a transaction has settled and a receipt is required.

## Mobile notifications

* *Transaction approved* — receive a notification when an admin has approved your transaction.
* *Transaction rejected* — receive a notification when an admin has rejected your transaction.
* *Transaction declined* — receive a notification when your card is declined at point-of-sale.
* *Card balance updates* — receive a notification when funds are added to or removed from your card.
* *Funding request status* — receive a notification when your funding request is approved or rejected.
* *Missing receipt reminder* — receive a push notification when a transaction has settled and a receipt is required.
* *Low balance reminder* — receive a push notification when your card balance is below a certain threshold.

## How to update notification preferences on web

    Navigate to your user profile (top right section of the dashboard).

    Navigate to the **Notifications** tab.

  <Step>
    Select which notifications you would like to enable for email and mobile.
  </Step>

    Click **Update Notifications** to save your preferences.
  </Step>

    Log in to the PEX mobile app.

    Navigate to **Settings**.
  </Step>

    Select **Notifications**.
  </Step>

    Select which notifications you would like to enable for mobile.
