# Reviewing bills in the PEX mobile app

> Approve or reject bills assigned to you in the PEX mobile app when you're part of a Bill Pay approval policy

If you're a Cardholder in a Bill Pay approval policy, you can review bills in the PEX mobile app. You can approve a bill when it's your turn in the approval route.

## Open bills

**Step 1**

Open the **Dashboard** tab.

**Step 2**

In the **Review** section, tap **Bills**.

## Approve or reject bills

**1. From the list**

On a bill row, tap **⋮**. Choose **Approve** or **Reject**. The menu also includes **View details**.

**2. From bill details**

To review the bill first, choose **View details**, then tap **Approve** or **Reject** at the bottom of the **Bill details** page.

To review several bills at once:

1. Long-press a bill to select it.
2. Select other bills or choose **Select all**.
3. Choose **Approve** or **Reject**.

For bulk approvals, confirm in the **Approve bills?** dialog. For bulk rejections, the app asks for one reason for all selected bills. An individual rejection confirmation has an optional reason.

## Review bill details

Bill details shows each bill's vendor, amount, due date, submitter and status. **More details** includes the bill date and reference number, and **Approver(s)** lists the approvers.

Use **Receipts**, **Notes** and **Tags** to review the bill's attachments, notes and tags. In **Notes**, you can add a note and see only notes shared with Cardholders. In **Tags**, you can view tags but can't edit them.

## Bill approval push notifications

The **Bill to approve** push notification tells you that a vendor's bill for the displayed amount needs your approval. Tap it to open **Bill details**. If the bill has already been reviewed, the notification opens the **Bills** list instead.

To receive these notifications, turn on **Bill payment requests** in the app under **Settings** → **Notifications**. This toggle is available to Cardholders in a bill approval policy.
