How to Delete a Receipt

The PEX platform allows cardholders and admins to attach a receipt image or PDF file directly to a merchant transaction.

Administrators can delete any receipt. Cardholders can delete receipts if they are not approved. Once a receipt is approve, the cardholder must call an administrator in order to request changes.

Admins and cardholders can delete receipts from the mobile apps or websites.

1. PEX Card mobile

  • Navigate to the cardholder transaction list.
  • Click on the correct merchant transaction to open details.
  • Scroll to the bottom of transaction details.
  • Android - click the right menu with 3 dots.  iOS - swipe left and click Remove
  • Confirm by selecting Remove
  • Deleting a receipt does not delete transaction notes.  If you want to delete any notes associated with the receipt
    • Android - click on the right menu with 3 dots and select Remove
    • iOS - swipe left and click Remove

2. PEX websites (admin and cardholder)

  • Navigate to the cardholder transaction list.
  • Click on the image icon in the Receipt column.
  • Click on the trashcan icon at the top right of the Update receipt window.
  • Confirm by selecting Delete
  • Deleting a receipt does not delete transaction notes.  If you want to delete any notes associated with the receipt, click on the transaction to open details and click the “X” next to the note.

Once the receipt is deleted, a new file can be attached to the transaction.
