Prerequisites
To set up the DATABASICS integration you need an admin login to PEX. DATABASICS does not need to know your credentials, but your login authorizes DATABASICS to pull your transactions.Note:If you’d rather not use your own login, you can create a separate admin profile — named something like
databasicsintegration or db_integration — to control the permissions you grant. PEX restricts access at the token level, so the token only allows the transaction load you authorize during setup.Connect PEX and DATABASICS
DATABASICS support starts the connection by sending you a link. To connect your accounts follow these steps:1
Click the link DATABASICS support sends you. It redirects you to the PEX authorization page.
2
Enter your PEX credentials from the prerequisites above and log in. PEX authenticates you and prepares to authorize the transaction load.
3
Click Allow to let PEX provision a token for DATABASICS. This gives DATABASICS access to the listed features. You’ll see a confirmation message such as “Thank you for using DATABASICS”.
4
Let DATABASICS know you’ve completed the steps. Their services team confirms they have the token and can access your PEX transaction data.
