Prepaid Expense accounts with 90 consecutive days of financial inactivity incur a monthly dormancy fee. To review the monthly fee information, visit the pricing page.

What counts as financial inactivity?

Financial inactivity is defined as 90 consecutive days of no active spending on at least one active card on the account (including associated sub-accounts with the same EIN). This does not mean that every individual Cardholder has to spend every month. As long as at least one card is actively spending, the business is not considered dormant.

What happens to dormant accounts with a $0 balance?

Accounts with $0 in their PEX account balance that have become dormant will be closed.
