Low-balance transfers allow admins to set a minimum target prepaid PEX Account balance, an amount that they want to always have available for their daily operations. Once enabled the PEX system will automatically schedule ACH transfers to top up the PEX Account balance back up to the target level, whenever it drops below. To set up Low-balance transfers go to the Transactions section of the Dashboard and select the Make A Transfer button. Then navigate to the second section titled “Low-balance transfers”. Note that this functionality is controlled by an internal business setting, and if you don’t see it as an option, you may need to request enablement of Low-balance transfers through customer support. Low-balance transfers can be enabled by clicking the checkbox, and then selecting the linked external bank account from which the transfers should originate. If you have access to Same Day ACH through your bank account, you can select it for faster processing times. Same Day ACH is available from external bank accounts linked through Instant Account Verification via Open Banking Providers online verification. Note that the minimum ACH amount scheduled through Low-balance transfers is 100,soyourPEXAccountbalanceneedstodropby100, so your PEX Account balance needs to drop by 100 or more below the target balance before an ACH will be automatically scheduled.
