There may be cases when cardholders are unable to manage their accounts themselves. In such situations, someone else should be able to categorize transactions or add receipts on the cardholder’s behalf. If you need the ‘Team member card assignment’ feature for your business account, please reach out to adminsupport@pexcard.com to have it enabled.

How to assign a team member card to another cardholder user

  1. Log in to the Dashboard via https://dashboard.pexcard.com
  2. Navigate to the ‘Cards’ from the sidebar menu and click on that
  3. Click on the 3 dots button at the top right corner
  4. Click on the ‘Assign to cardholder user’ button\
  5. Select the cardholder you want to assign the selected card to.*Note: Visible only if the feature is enabled and there is no active user assigned to the card.

  6. Click on the Assign button.
    Once the card is assigned, a cardholder user will be able to switch to the card from the Dashboard drop-down menu.\
  7. To remove the assignment or reassign the card to another user, navigate to the Card owner tab and select the action button you need

    FAQs

    1. Can I delete the assignment?
    Yes, you have to open the ‘Card details’ page → ‘Card owner’ and press the ‘Remove assignment’ button.
    2. Can I reassign cards to other users?
    Yes, you have to open the ‘Card details’ page → ‘Card owner’ → press the ‘Reassign’ button and select another cardholder you want to share the card with.
    3. Can I assign a card to multiple users so that they can log in separately?
    No, if a user can log in to the account, there is no option to share the cardholder’s account with another user.
    4. Once I remove the assignment or reassign the card from cardholder A to cardholder B, will cardholder A stop seeing the assigned card account?
    Yes, once you reassign the card, cardholder A won’t be able to access the unassigned account anymore.
