In cases where your employees or volunteers should not be able to spend on all seven days of the week, PEX provides the ability to limit spend by day of week. For example, you can limit spend to only Monday - Friday, or only Saturday/Sunday. Purchases made outside of these days will be declined automatically. Note: Days of the week are defined from midnight ET to 11:59:59ET daily.

How to limit spend by day of week

  1. Login to the administrator site and choose “Cards” from the left navigation
  2. Choose the card you wish to limit spending by day for
  3. Choose the tab titled “Spend rules”
  4. Scroll down to “Limit days for spending”
  5. Click to disable or enable specific days of the week
    • Days highlighted in blue mean spend is enabled
    • Days with a white background mean spend is disabled
    • Click “everyday” to automatically enable spend on all days of the week
For customers on select plans, you can also set days of the week as part of a spend policy.
