If the card unblocking feature is available for your business account, all cards are automatically blocked after Cardholders register them. To unblock your card, you must submit a card unblocking request, which a designated approver must then approve.

Submitting a card unblocking request

Log in to the Dashboard at dashboard.pexcard.com as a Cardholder.

Navigate to Card requests from the sidebar menu.

Click the Unblocking requests tab in the top menu.

Click New request in the top right corner.

Select Card unblocking from the dropdown.

Specify the dates you want to unblock your card for in the From date and To date fields (optional).

Add a note in the Note text area (optional).

Click Submit.

Review the status of your request

Log in to the Dashboard at dashboard.pexcard.com as a Cardholder.

Navigate to Card requests from the sidebar menu.

Click the Unblocking requests tab.
  • All requests waiting for approval are displayed by default.
  • To view all requests, click Filters in the top left and select all statuses from the Review status dropdown.
Note:You’ll receive an email notification when your card unblocking request is approved, rejected or canceled.

Notifications

  • Once a card unblocking request is approved, rejected or canceled, you’ll receive an email notification.
  • When your card is activated according to the timeline from your request, you’ll receive an email notification.
  • When your card is blocked according to the timeline from your request, you’ll receive an email notification.
  • A card-blocking reminder email is sent 3 days before your card is blocked.

FAQ

Can I submit a card unblocking request via the mobile app? Yes, you can use the mobile app to submit a card unblocking request. However, you’ll be redirected to the browser version. How can I know about my request approval/rejection/cancellation? You’ll receive a notification (email and push) once your card unblocking request is approved or rejected/canceled. Can I delete or cancel my card unblocking request? No, you cannot delete or cancel your card unblocking request once you submit it. Can I edit my request after it has been submitted? No, you cannot edit your card unblocking request after submission. However, admins can edit your request before it has been approved or rejected. Will I receive an advance reminder about the blocking of my card? Yes, an email reminder is sent 3 days before your card is blocked. How can I add a description to my card unblocking request? You can add a note while creating a card unblocking request.
