The spend rule requests workflow allows you to request temporary or permanent changes to your spend rules if the Use Auto-Card Funding feature is enabled. Whether it’s increasing a time-based limit, enabling international spend or adjusting merchant category restrictions, spend requests enable fast, accountable decision-making — all without leaving the PEX platform. You can submit spend requests to increase your spend limits from the mobile app or Dashboard.Documentation Index

Submit a spend rule request
Log in to the Dashboard at dashboard.pexcard.com as a Cardholder.
Enter the requested amounts next to your original time-based limits.
- Requested amounts must be higher than the current ones.
- Only the limits set for your Cardholder account are displayed.
Review the status of your spend rule request
Log in to the Dashboard at dashboard.pexcard.com as a Cardholder.
Note:You’ll receive an email notification when your spend rule request is approved, rejected or canceled.
Notifications
- Once a spend request is approved, rejected or canceled, you’ll receive an email notification.
- Once your request gets activated and spend rules change, you’ll receive an email notification.
- Once your spend rule request expires, you’ll receive an email notification.
