How to Enable Admin Notifications
PEX offers a variety of admin notifications to alert you to key account activity. You can subscribe to the following notifications: Email- Transaction needs review
- Receive a notification when a cardholder has uploaded a receipt to a transaction and it is ready to be reviewed.
- Cardholder declines
- Receive a notification every time a cardholder transaction is declined at point-of-sale.
- Cardholder purchases
- Receive a notification whenever a cardholder makes a purchase.
- Cardholder funding failures
- Receive a notification when scheduled card funding fails.
- Funding requests from cardholders
- Receive a notification when a cardholder submits a funding request.
- Daily PEX Account balance
- Receive a notification that contains your current account balance.
- PEX Account funding
- Receive a notification when funds have been added to your PEX account.
- Low balance reminder
- Receive a daily notification when your business account balance is below a certain threshold.
- Custom report
- Receive a notification when a custom report is generated and available to download.
- Expiring cards
- Receive a notification when cards are expiring in the next 90 days.
- PEX reimbursement request submission
- Receive a notification whenever a cardholder submits a reimbursement request
- PEX reimbursements pending transfer
- Receive a notification when there are approved reimbursement requests that need to be paid
- Daily digest approval reminder
- Receive a daily email notification around 9–10 AM ET with a general list of all items pending your review (transactions, reimbursements, etc.)
- This reminder is only available to admins with permissions to approve workflow items (transactions, reimbursements, funding requests, etc.).
- The email will not be sent if no items are pending your review.
- Weekly digest approval reminder
- Receive a weekly email notification around 9–10 AM ET with a general list of all items pending your review (transactions, reimbursements, etc.).
- Only available for admins who have permissions to approve workflow items (transactions, reimbursements, funding requests, etc.)
- The email will not be sent if there are no items pending your review.
- Monthly digest approval reminder
- Receive a monthly email notification around 9–10 AM ET with a general list of all items pending your review (transactions, reimbursements, etc.).
- Only available for admins who have permissions to approve workflow items (transactions, reimbursements, funding requests, etc.)
- The email will not be sent if there are no items pending your review.

How to Update Notification Preferences on Web
- To manage your notification preferences on web, log in to your account at dashboard.pexcard.com.
- Navigate to ‘My Profile’.
- Navigate to the ‘Notifications’ tab.
- Select which notifications you would like to enable for email and mobile.
How to Update Notification Preferences on Mobile
- To manage your notification preferences on mobile, log in to the PEX app.
- Navigate to ‘Settings.’
- Select ‘Notifications.’
- Select which notifications you would like to enable for mobile.
