When the primary full administrator on an account is preparing to depart the company, we recommend they first notify PEX by contacting admin support for any additional requirements and to update our records. After notifying PEX, send an admin invite with full permissions to the person who will be managing the PEX account. This allows for a seamless transition.
Note:It is not recommended that a departing administrator share their login credentials with a replacement. A new administrator profile is strongly encouraged.
If the only full administrator on an account departs abruptly and there are no active full admins, documentation will be required to provide access to a new or existing partial administrator. The same documentation is required if there are no active full administrators or no active administrators at all.

Adding a new primary administrator

To grant a new administrator full responsibilities, we require the following documentation on company letterhead from a high-ranking official (CEO, VP, etc.):
  1. PEX account administrative changes
  2. Company EIN number
  3. New administrator’s full name, date of birth and email address (administrators must be at least 18 years old)
  4. A copy of the new administrator’s government-issued ID
  5. A copy of the new administrator’s pay stub with the company name listed
This letter must come from someone in a high-standing position within the company. Once received and reviewed, we send an administrator invite to the new full administrator.

A partial administrator replacing a full administrator

To grant a partial administrator full responsibilities, we require the following documentation on company letterhead from a high-ranking official (CEO, VP, etc.):
  1. PEX account administrative changes
  2. Company EIN number
  3. Current partial administrator’s full name and email address
Once received and reviewed, we update the partial permissions to full privileges or send an administrator invitation to the new administrator. Send the required documentation to adminsupport@pexcard.com. Once implemented, an email confirms the administrative changes have been processed.
Note:New and existing administrators may be required to provide updated documentation to the Compliance Department to transition to becoming the primary admin on the account. Full compliance is required.
Once logged in, former administrators who are no longer with the company may be permanently deleted. See How to remove admins for instructions.
