We recognize that businesses may, at times, need to change the name they are operating under.

If your business’s EIN number is remaining the same but you’re now doing business under a new name:

  • PEX can process a name change for your account.
  • You will need to provide the relevant documentation confirming you have changed the name of your business with the state that you operate in.
    • Examples of such documentation: DBA form, Fictitious or Assumed Name form, or Articles of Amendment

If your business will have a new EIN number and you will be doing business under a new name:

  • If your business’s EIN number has or will change, this is considered a new entity and therefore a new application is required on our apply site here.
To initiate the process of updating the name of your PEX account, please email us at adminsupport@pexcard.com with your request. If applicable, you will be required to upload a DBA or other relevant documentation on via your PEX dashboard. Visit https://dashboard.pexcard.com/login to upload your documentation. For your security, never send any sensitive information via email.

How to Update Your Business Documentation To Your Dashboard

  1. Go to the Business Settings tab on your dashboard, click on the Documents tab.
  2. Upload or drag and drop required documentation.
